My name is Simion Darie and I am a professional painter with more than 28 years of experience in residential and commercial projects in Greece and the Netherlands. I started my career 27 years ago as a young immigrant from Romania to Greece, working and learning alongside a traditional painting family business, where I was trained in all aspects of interior and exterior painting. Over the years I have worked as a freelancer, employee and team leader, which gives me a complete understanding of both practical work and project organisation.

For 20 years I was self‑employed in Athens, running my own painting company, managing up to 7 employees and serving demanding clients in a highly competitive market. I created my own website and YouTube channel, trained young painters who later opened their own companies, and successfully kept my business alive through the economic crisis thanks to quality work, honesty and long‑term customer relationships.

Since 2019 I have been living and working in the Netherlands, mainly in Eindhoven and the surrounding region. I have worked as a painter, wallpaper installer, team leader and maintenance worker for several Dutch companies, on projects such as public buildings, schools and social housing. In these roles I have been responsible not only for painting, but also for organising work, ordering materials, planning with colleagues and communicating with clients and residents.
